The Head of Short Courses and Capacity Building designs, coordinates, and delivers professional training programmes, workshops, and continuing education courses in sustainable energy. This position bridges academic knowledge and practical skills for industry, government, and civil society stakeholders.
Led by Ing. Asaah Philip (MEng Electrical Engineering & Automation, PE-GhIE), the Training & Education Division works with accreditation bodies such as GTEC and professional engineering associations to ensure course certification and professional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accredited short courses & certificate programmes
- Coordinate training delivery with SEC Leads
- Market programmes nationally and regionally
- Generate revenue through paid training
- Explore online/blended learning delivery
